Soccerworld Hamilton

Community Involvement

Soccerworld Hamilton holds a firm belief in supporting our community and the local soccer scene. Each year we carefully develop initiatives that closely align with our corporate values.

Both John McGrane and John Gibson have spent many years providing their coaching expertise within the city, developing local talent and have successfully assisting several young player on to soccer scholarships in the United States and Canada. We are also proud to award 'The David Smith Memorial Scholarship' - the largest privately funded full scholarship.

Soccerworld believes that good business also gives back to the community. Over the past 25 years we have offered registration at no cost for hundreds of kids from financially stressed homes who all had a passion to play soccer.

SISO, is Soccerworld's community project. This past season Soccerworld sponsored a SISO men adult team (17 to 19 years) this team was placed in the 2nd most competitive division and they were undefeated to the final play-off game. After the success of the inaugural year with S.I.S.O., John Gibson President has opened 100 registrations at no cost for SISO youth evenly distributed of boys and girls ranging in ages from 18 months to 17 years old for 2008-2009 season. John Gibson also volunteers as a coach for the SISO outdoor league.
